For my senior project, I need to interview 2 people in my chosen profession, and the profession I chose was a programmer...

So, if there are any programmers here that program as there career, I would be really grateful if you would let me ask you a few questions and use you as a source.

I really need your help on this. They were due a week ago, I just cant find anyone in this profession around my area.

Thanks.

Alright, so one person agreed to answer the questions. I just need one more, any other people here programmers?

I'm a junior in HS and do it as a side job at the University (data processing) and have been programming at home for years. I'd probably be able to answer your questions but I haven't worked in group environments (groups of programmers).

PM me as well if you like. I'm an aerospace engineer, and I do alot of programming as part of my job. I wouldn't call myself a programmer, but it might be an interesting perspective.

Or PM me. Was a mainframe developer, then moved to OS OOB with scripting and some device code, and now doing some scripting for app install, C++/ASP apps for our security apps. Been at the same company for 19 years in 1 mth.

i'm a software qa engineer at a pretty large company. i am not a programmer per se, i just check over their code and write some small programs to help do that. i would probably answer the questions if its not like 500 of them.

You're only a junior in HS xtknight?! Holy ****** man. I thought you worked professionally at a company or something... you seem smart as ******. Haha. 😀

I've been a programmer for 20 years. I do mostly C (C# these days) but I've used lots of different languages over the years.

Feel free to PM/email me if you still need to interview people.

Dave
