crap...I acidently hit enter lol...anyways
lately...my computer has been crashing...but I moved it from my basement (which is usually cold unless heat is on) to upstairs where it's much warmer...I've removed the case cover...but it still crashes....I think it's a heat problem....what's a good program to measure video card temps? or is there one? also my cpu temps are high 40's....low 50's...and I've tried all sorts of drivers...

lately meaning when I first got my system up and running it was working great with no problems....now it crashes a lot...I've heard a lot of ecs boards having a problem with bad power supplies...and I just played serious sam:the second encounter for a little bit and I monitored my temps and they were at 44-45 degrees C...what's weird though...is that if I leave my computer idle for awhile...it'll take longer to crash...and when it finally does crash...it doesn't take as long to crash when I start the game right up again...this is what leaves me to think it's a heat problem...and when I put my fingers on my radeon's memory chips...they seem warm...not burning hot...but warm...I don't know though...but now I think it's a power supply problem...I'm running the power supply that came with my Enlight 7327 case...300w
actually now that I think of it...I think it may be power supply related...I started up my computer and it gave me an error at bootup saying something like...memory count is wrong or something...and I had to go into the bios and reenter all my bios settings...including cpu multiplier...ram settings...cmos information...also for some reason my monitor's screen position is resetted...so I have to go back and change it's position and make it bigger...etc...
