Any program out there that will tell you what process is using a particular file?

Is there a specific reason? Maybe there is a better work around if you are having a problem.

I may be wrong, but I think there is actually a dos command to see what .exe is using a certain file.
 
I was going to recommend FILEMON from sysinternals. I believe that is the one AGNAT is refering to.
 
These tools look pretty great. I'm definately going to have to try symbolic links and see if I can't simplify some netbios shares 🙂
