Any problems with bundling SATA cables together?

So I'm building my new PC, paying attention to my cable runs, and I started bundling my SATA cables together into a nice neat stack where possible (4 cables stacked neatly together into something of a cube) and then I realized, that there may be issues with paralleling SATA cables this way for any significant length.

Are there actually any issues?

are you kidding? servers/raid cards run breakout cables connecting 4 or even more cables into a single cable to go into a single port. Of course its ok. It will have no effect.

K, just making sure. Remembering some old advice about not paralleling data & power lines (in walls/ceilings). and since SATA is unshielded, was unsure if extremely close parallel runs could present a crosstalk issue or not.

Don't laugh. Sunfox poses a valid point. About 20 years ago (when I was working), we built AD/DA converter boxes for Grumman's F-14 Tomcat. These were about the size of a full tower PC, and were beautifully packaged with bundled wiring harnesses.

We got them returned with the comment that there was unacceptable EMI and cross talk. in the process of testing, the harnesses were removed and a tech clipped all the harness ties. All wires and connections were tested. To speed up testing, the wires were stuffed as is back into the case, and things were powered. This time, there was no EMI and no crosstalk. The light dawned!

Immediately all wiring harness were untied and the wires jumbled. Problem solved!

However - there are shilded SATA cables available should you want to insure performance from a neat package.
