Any problems with ABIT KT7A-RAID?!?!?!?!

Has anyone had any problems with the ABIT KT7A-RAID? I'm planning on ordering one today and would like to know if anyone's had any problems with them at all or knows of any?
 
Hmm...this should probably go in GH, but hey, whats the difference eh? 🙂 I haven't heard anything bad about it, but I don't have one myself.
 
I've had problems with the fan on the chipset... fant went dead after two months of 24/7 work.

Probably just an exception to the rule though.
 
Actually now that you mention it I've heard of the fan problem before, but that's replaceable with a blue orb. I was referring more to any possible conflicting hardware that's mainstream or os problems.

EDIT: Anyone got any suggestions for the best hsf unit for this board? err as far as space restrictions on the cpu hsf?
 
Abit's got a higher percentage of RMAed boards than many other manufacturers. Also, I think they charge you when you do that.

That said, they are very nice boards, if you don't mind paying a premium.
 
It figures. *cough* Maxtor. I'm either going with the KT7A-RAID or the KT7-RAID anyway. The main reason is that I need an isa slot for my awe64 gold. Otherwise I might consider another board. This board is production, right?
