Any problem putting a GF-6800GS in a Dell Dimension 5150?

I am looking at the possibility of purchasing a Dell Dimension 5150. Unfortunately, the best graphics option Dell offers for this unit is a lame Radeon 256MB x600SE.

Would there be any problems with compatibility or heat overload if I drop in a GeForce 6800GS? I don't think there would be any problems with this plan... but I thought I would check with y'all first.

Thanks!

PS- I don't want to hear anybody tell me that I should be building my own box, or that I should be purchasing an AMD X2... I KNOW! :) I am helping a client pick out a computer and they only want Dell, which unfortunately doesn't offer systems with AMD procs.

What about a GeForce 7800GT? Any problems there?

Would there be any problems or restrictions with the Dell powersupply or headers on the mobo?

I am running into the same thing with my Gateway. The PSU that they put in are about 300watts but I was told to get at least a 500watt PSU for the 7800GT, to be on the safe side.

Anyone so easily influenced by marketing that they "only want Dell" doesn't deserve, or require anything that isnt a Dell Dementia option. You should just tell them that if Dell doesn't offer it as an option it wont work :)

Now that the Dell bashing is done ;) there should be no reason you couldn't upgrade the video card as long as the power supply is strong enough, and it probably is since I doubt that Dell has many overclocking options. Then again heat could be an issue, if so refer back to my original statment :)
