any problem adding a 2n'd printer to the same PC with a USB adapter?

I have 1 machine w/ a laserjet, and someone wants to add their color inkjet to it also, I was thinking instead of a prnter switch just get a USB printer cable. Are there any problems with this? Like software not wanting to print to a USB port rather than lpt1?

Nope, shouldn't be. I was doing that same thing a few years ago under Win98SE. Just make sure you set 1 as default and remember to switch between the 2 when necessary.
