If you have a pro do it make sure you get the slate/table releveled and the seems redone with wax (not plaster) if is a multi piece slate.

I've always gone through local places, but seyberts.com (they're local too) is pretty big...lots of really nice things depending on the quality you're looking for. In terms of the felt, you're probably better off going with a local store to help you out with that.
