I'm working on a SFF system and I need an ATX mounting plate to mount the motherboard to... Does anyone know of a place that sells mounting plates like that...? My other option will be to find a discarded ATX case and chop it up with a dremel, but I'd like to see what (if anything) is available...

Directron has a couple of pull-out mobo trays for sale. I think they cost around $30 though. They also have what they call "case skeletons" for sale for $10 each. You could cut one of these up for your project.

Hmm... I guess those might be an option if nothing else pans out... Thanks for that link.

Make your own. Hardboard w/standoffs screwed in. Or, if it needs to be pretty, acrylic from Home Depot/Lowes/wherever.

I thought about acrylic, but I'm not sure it will work for what I want to do.. I think it's going to have to be steel or aluminum.. It will also have to be mounted somehow to an anodized aluminum bodypanel, and I'm not quite sure yet how to go about that. I was thinking of spot welding it or doing a cold weld, but it's absolutely critical that the other side of the aluminum bodypanel that I'm going to mount it to isn't damaged/blemished/discolored in the process.
