Early December snow for the Mid-Atlantic? Please yes!

It's currently looking like a rain to snow event b/c it'll take a while for the cold air to get sucked down south, but the back-end snows could bring a couple of inches.

It won't be an all-out blizzard, I'd imagine you'll be fine.

I hang out over on the accuweather.com forums and I am a mid atlantic nor'easter nut but given the last several years of pathetic snow events I don't believe it until I have to go outside and shovel it......

What ever happened to the good ol days when we used to measure snowfall with yardstick?

 Weather enthusiast? Seriously?

You don't have interests? Civil War? Space? Oiled-up hot chicks?

I agree but I still can't help but get my hopes up. It's fun to read all the posts on Accuweather, some of them really know their stuff. But, just like here, there are a bunch of morons as well.

I certainly used to be in FL when i was waiting for waves. Now that I live in the NW, there are always waves and its a matter of winds, that info is generally only reliable the day before.

I miss FL.

Well...it would seem that any of those, would have something to be enthusiastic about. Weather on the other hand, just occurs. I don't get it.

I love being home on a weekend during a snow storm. I used to like it less when I couldn't get my snowblower started. :p I also like it less if I have to commute to/from work during the blizzard. But otherwise it's a nice excuse to sit at home and watch movies/play PC games and relax.

I understand your pain... PA roads are horrible in the snow. In NY, we just salt the hell out of them! :D

EDIT: Amusingly enough, the road where my apartment is on was pure white yesterday... but not from snow .

It probably won't be, but all it takes is an ATC at LGA sneezing to cause delays at that airport.

I rather like rechargeable batteries.

And some people reportedly like turtles.
