Just got my BARAM through the door not ten minutes ago. Pulled it out of its lovely packed box in the car to marvel at it. The curves in the fins, the twisting heatpipes, if I could make love to any computer component, this would be it. I got it for like 53$ shipped too, price being why I didn't go buy a Megashadow or something.
I've seen some reviews classifying it with the Megahalems and TRUEs of various versions and revisions, and I've seen others that put it a bit below them, but suffice to say its never gotten negative reviews in performance. However upon inspecting the mounting hardware, I think the complaints about the mounting system are definitely valid, since I can't make heads or tails of it.
To be fair it comes with this little documentation manual / installation guide that I haven't read yet, but just looking at the hardware and never having a cooler that didn't use the dreaded push pins, it looks very confusing.
I'd appreciate any tips on mounting and personal opinions of performance.
