Are there any other members here at Anandtech from Alaska? I'm not per se looking for a new social group, but I would be interested in parts/trading type of loose network. It's almost like I'm the only home-builder and tweaker in the this vast state. But that can't be true.

You don't need to give an address, but please, if you don't mind, post your general location.

I'm in Eagle River out near the Nature Center. I'm constantly upgrading, tweaking, experimenting, and trading computer parts. So many times I've wondered if someone in the area has what I need or if they'd be interested parts I'm selling.

Thanks for 'registering' in my little thread, Adam. What a beautiful place in which you live. People just don't understand beautiful until they've seen Valdez.

Valdez is a bit small for my tastes, but it's hard to tear myself away. It's very picturesque. The other day when I was driving home from work, I felt like I was driving through a painting.

I'm curious to see just how many people from Alaska we have here at Anandtech, which is why I'm gonna bump this to the top again. 😀
