Viewsonic has a $50 rebate going on right now, every store that I've been to, these monitors look great. I do some gaming and general messing around but no serious word processing. My video card is a Asus 770 GTS, probably run at 1024x768 or 1280x1024.
 
I have used the PF790, PS790(discontinued short neck) and a GS790 short neck. The are great deals. Rick.
 
Excellent monitor, minor AG horizontal lines to deal with, Screen configuration is always just a tad off, but image depth and quality is outstanding.
 
Bought one for my girlfriend. Great monitor, but I'd like it a lot better if the screen were flatter like the Samsung 900 series.
 
It's alright I guess but I don't think Viewsonic really makes ver high quality monitors. I prefer Samsung 900NF over it and they are around the same price range.
 
I'm using mine with a V5-5500. Damn good monitor. Where I used to work, we had many 19" and 21" Viewsonics and none ever failed or showed any signs of wimping out.
