Any one tried Jeff galloways marathon training program

I was wondering if anyone has tried jeff galloways marathon training programs. i've been following it for about 3 weeks now and just did my first 5K last weekend.

What do people think of it.
do walk breaks and 3 times a week really help prevent injuries. my primary motivation is to improve my stamina and run a marathon, no time goals this time around. I'd also like to avoid injuries in the process.
 
Never tried it, but I've incorporated walk breaks into my marathon training. I'm not and will never be an elite runner. One day I might be good enough to run 26.2 miles in a row, but for right now walk breaks help you rest and recover before your muscles are completely wiped. I used it in a half this past weekend and shaved 7 minutes off my PR. (Then again I have been using walk breaks in all my priors as well, but did a better job of spacing them out)
