Halo 2 for the PC doesn't exist, unless there is some third-party unofficial adaptation of which I am unaware.

Burnout is a rather unrealistic, fun, arcadey racing game isnt it? If so, you may want to check out the latest offerings from the NFS series. Need For Speed Underground 1 & 2 and Need For Speed Most Wanted may be your cup of tea. Demo's should be available for all 3 and they are all on both PC and XBox I believe (PC guarunteed).

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War is the best RTS in the past 2 years in my opinion. Winter Assault is a decent expansion although I hear there are some balance issues in multiplayer. You can buy both the game and expansion in 1 package for a reasonable price and it is, in my opinion, worth the money.

So the game sucks ass because you suck ass at it? Hmm, well I guess I wouldn't enjoy a game either if I wasn't any good at it. :)

ViceCity (imho) was an awesome game. No it won't push the limits of the video card, but the story, music and missions were a blast. Side note: I may be a bit biased on this as I'm an 80s child.

Halflife does have good graphics but I didn't find the story to be as intriguing as the first one. It was worth it for me, however, simply for Counter-strike.

Did you mention BF2 on your list? That game is pretty fun also if War FPS games appeal to you. Also I've heard great things about Call of Duty 2. Why not just browse IGN, Gamespot or Gamespy and see what is out there for your platforms.

Enjoy the new toys.

GTA San Adrea's no pint on getting the older ones, Counter Strike is good but hard multi player game must have high speed. Batlle filed 2 is a fun ultiplayer game.

20 minutes in between battles with headcrabs and slowly moving zombies is fun? You spend more time doing nothing but running around than you do actually using your weapons. Why don't we just call it Myst:Freeman instead?

Dude, at least 90% of the gaming world completely disagrees with you. All he did was say he disagrees, too, and yet you can't let it slide. Get over yourself.

<-- Disagrees with most of Malak's opinions on games (Except Halo 2. That was crap.)

HL2 can be purchases pretty cheap. Its worth picking up. I thought the single player was fun even though I'm not a big fan of single player in general. There's enough mods coming out for it though that eventually it'll really turn into a must have title even if you aren't a fan of a franchise.

Oblivion has me excited, but that isn't coming out until early next year.

Battlefield 2 is both a single player and multiplayer game. However it has no single player campaigns. All the single player game is, is the multiplayer maps with bots.

I reccomend:

Battlefield 2
UT2004
Command & Conquer Generals w/ Zero Hour
Age of Empires 3
Quake 4
Serious Sam 2

Chronicles of Riddick is a brilliant game. I'm replaying it with my new vid card, and it is so much better than the crap resolution I played it on before. It'll play great on a 6800GS. Definitely worth it.
