Well, I play a lot of indoor soccer and for the past couple of weeks I've had some pretty bad pain on both of my big toes. I'm pretty sure its turf toe, however I've not consulted a doctor yet. I'm buying new hard sole shoes, but besides that anyone else have any other remedies? Something to prevent it from happening?

Thanks,

Turf toe sucks.

I had that in high school and it put a serious damper on my running for winter/spring track. Takes FOREVER to get better too.

I think Deion Sanders missed nearly an entire season due to turf toe.

Oh and people who don't have turf toe, or don't know anything about it will look at you like you're a puss. Some people just don't realize how important the big toe is for not only balance and burst speed, but walking in general.

Completely agreed, there is nothing I can do with my feet that does not involve my big toes.

I have.

Skip the doctor. Avoid them at all costs (general MD)

Make an appointment with a pediatrist or sports specialist. Or talk to your trainer.
