Any one ever notice the momentum with voting in ATOT poles?

Anyone ever notice this? Say there's an pole in a thread with 2 options. One of the options always ends up with 90% of the vote for the first few hours, and then the other option gets 90% after that.

I voted Yes because I am Anti-Everone else. Actually I just dont give a darn and clicked the wrong button ::shrugs::

I've noticed a similar phenomenon. Someone will post a thread, possibly including a poll, and at the beginning all of the responses will go one way. Then finally someone will make a post in support of the opposing viewpoint, and suddenly there will be a lot of responses in that direction.

I'm not sure if:
- ATers are unsure if their opinion has solid reasoning behind it, and don't want to get PWNED by something they hadn't thought of
- ATers are too meek to state an opinion that is in the extreme minority
- ATers are easily swayed by other people

Or a combination of all of the above.
