I've found them very fun to read, and a good break from the seriousness of daily life.

plus it helps me catch up on my wizarding skillz...;)

my book plans for the rest of the summer are
finish the military history i'm on
then a 'short history of europe'
then harry potter 6
then start rereading song of fire and ice for book 4

I actually read all of them so far too. I read all 6 when it when Order of the Phoenix came out. In about a week. I am looking forwards to it.

my little sisters both love them.

They've been around so I've picked them up and been through the series. I didn't expect to like them but I did. They are fun, just a good break from everything. Kinda like playing with Legos again, in a strange way.

Yeah, I'd like to read the next one. I guess we'll have it soon.

Yeah, it seems so weird. I remember the first one coming out when I was in 4th grade. Seems like it was just a few months ago or something, crazy.

I read them to my seven-year old... the whole family is looking forward to it.

Just preordered that, the second Eragon, the 4th George R.R. Martin, and the Griffin and Sabine books. :D

Looking forward to them all.

I started reading them in 8th grade. My teacher brought it to me and I told her to f*ck off. Then I was embarassed when I actually started to like it.
