I hear this nasty sucker is going around? Im barfing my brains out.. from both ends. Sorry to get so graphic.

I cant wait untill this thing passes my body.. man im hurting here. Sore all over as well.
 
yep, just winding down now. Had the best luck with the powdered packages that you drink with hot water (they say it tastes like lemons but if I was a citrus grower I'ld be insulted 😛 ).

Around here...it's one of two types. Either you get the stomach version and its bonus of many trips to the throne room or you get the sore throat/laryngitis version.

I sorta had the former and now it's morphing into the latter.

I got my flu shot a month or two ago... It's worth the 15 dollar investment. What part of the country do you live in?
 
hi, Im in NY long Island. I just managed to sleep for a few hours, Im afaraid to take anything in fear it might not stay down. 🙁
 
I haven't throw up in like 20 years. I have a stomach like a dogs, the acids will eat thru a license plate. But if I eat chili and have dairy with it, look out Irene. 😉
 
Something has made my allergies act up and they haven't done so in about 3 years. :| Luckily there's drugs (Chlorpheniramine) that can take it away...and it only costs $5 for a bottle of 100 pills. But when I wake up (i.e. NOW) I feel like crap.

I haven't had a flu shot since I was in the Army 25 years ago. The last time I got the flu was in 1993. The last cold was 1995.

i been sick for about a month now. everytime i think its going to go away it seems to come back again

You know I've gotten the flu every year for the last ten years and it always gets into my lungs and has twice given me pneumonia, but this year I haven't gotten sick even though eveyone else in the house has more then once. What's different? I dunno, maybe its all the fruit I've eatten this year. About four a day. That's the only thing I can think of that's different.

Winding down myself. Sick as a dog since Christmas Day ugh. Finally getting a hold of it. The key is plenty of powered vitiman c, potassium, and gargling with salt water 😉
 
Hey im feeling somewhat better after my 3 days of rest 😀 I did manage to get myself a Sony 32" today though. I was well enought for that 😛

i was sick briefly, but had the intelligence to go to the doctor and he gave me some anti-biotics and cough medicine and i felt better.
