just went in and did the computer application thing (50 minute application!). how long after do they contact you? do they contact you either way, if they have an opening or not?

just wondering if when u finished the computer application, what did it say for you? i thought id get a something more detailed them "we may contact you". did i do bad on the tests maybe?

When it asked if you ever stole or if a friend of yours stole and you knew if you would tell anyone, did you answer "No, I would not tell anyone."?

they contacted me about 2-3 days later. but i never showed up for orientation and so i never actually worked there. i was hired and did both the computer test and a face-to-face interview.

did u do the computer application then get called for the face to face interview? does the test on the computer tell you if you are eligible right away?

i got the face to face like 2 days after the computer. the computer test doesnt give results, but then they interviewed me, they said i tested well on the computer test, so you'll find out the results when they talk to you. after the face to face, they then gave me a orientation date and time.

nah. i never showed up. my friend i took the computer test went and worked there though. he just quit a couple of weeks ago to do construction. he liked it though. every x-mas they give you a gift certificate to the place, so that was pretty cool. i found another job (the job im currently at now) and never showed up. oh well.

If you are wanted, you will be contacted in 3-4 days. You can call and pester your contact as well, as they sometimes forget. Your application will be forwarded automaticly to all the Home Depot's around you, and any can call. The store you applied at gets first dibs.

If you do not answer the questions on that application correctly, your info never leaves the system. AFAIK there are "correct" answers, and "sorta correct" ones. I remember them asking me about a few of the questions, and why I chose what I did.
