I have strange freeze issues with my AIW. For some reason, it would randomly freeze, usually my monitor would blank out and the sound would loop. My monitor would be showing no signal and I would have to restart in order to get video back. It's really really frustrating because this issue doesn't just happen when I'm playing a game, it seems to be random because I could go 3 days without having a hiccup and then a day where it's hiccuping every 30 minutes. I think I've tried everything short of flashing my bios..and I'm convinced it's a card hardware issue. I bought this card in July, and it's been hiccuping after less than a month of use. Here's the things I've tried so far..(btw, I called ATI, and they told me to do some of things I'm going to list)

-Up the voltage of the AGP (I've tried the whole spectrum 1.55/1.60/1.65)
-Drop it down AGP 4X
-Change the aperture to 64MB
-Turn off fast write
-Reinstall drivers (I've tried the past 3 versions of ati drivers, and I'm on omega drivers now..same prob)
-Reformat (that was a headache)

I'm not sure what else I can do besides flash my BIOS, or RMA the goddamn card. I've been pulling my hair out on this for over a month now. If you guys think flashing it would work, do you guys know of any place site where I can get a run through of how to do it?

Here's my specs:

Shuttle XPC
Athlon 2800+
512 DDR333
AIW 9600XT 128MB
WD 160GB 2MB CACHE 7200RPM

Thanks sooo much.

Flash updating the motherboard bios would be a good idea; flash updating the video card bios would probably not be helpful.
What rating/size of power supply are you using?
Have you run Memtest, to check for memory errors?
Have you used DriverHeaven.com's "Driver Cleaner", when changing video drivers?

Yea I've used memtest, and it's been fine. I've also tried Driver Cleaner, and that doesn't seem to help much either (since I reformatted as well). The power supply is only 200W, but then again, it's a Shuttle XPC..so I dunno...
