Or you can use it to cover up blemishes that are already on your car.

Somebody has to have some experience with these!!!

Well if your intrested in protecting your paint, mite as well do it for the whole car and invest in one of these

personally i think they look pretty dumb but thats just me.. also, the sun will fade the paint on the rest of the car and when the bra finally comes off, that part of the car will have a different shade.... but you've gotta white car, so thats unlikely to happen unless you leave that thing on for years...

Yeah, and my car is garage kept too, so it does see too much sun.

I'll never have one on my car. They make most cars look weird. I once saw a bra on one of those new beetles. It looked soooo funny I was laughing.

My best friend has one on his Altima. It looks pretty cool, but it is a pain in the ass. He has to remove it everytime he washes his car, or when it rains, or it will trap moisture against his car's body and cause it to rust.

Seeing the outcome over a few years, THE PAINT WILL LOOK DIFFERENT IF YOU LEAVE IT ON FOR EVEN 6 MONTHS. Luckily it wasn't my car the got screwed up. As a accident cover-up, it definitely works great. You put it on your nice paint and expect it to look anywhere as nice as when you started, you have something coming. Air = oxidation/rust/wear, if you take that away the paint will look different after any amound of time.

I have one, but I only put it on when I go on highway trips (to protect against bug buildup). It works good for what it;s intended for.

Actually, the real trade-off is that, while you don't get rock chips, etc., the bra itself is damaging to your paint. Dirt particles from rainwater or what-not will get under the bra and damage the finish. This is why you are supposed to take them off all the time to clean them and to wax your car really good, etc.
Personally, I don't like 'em. Cure worse than the disease.
