Any news on XBox 360 mods?

I've checked the web but haven't come up with anything. Anyone know how the hackers are doing?

i think they have cracked the firmware on the dvd drive to allow burned games. And they have a sata adapter to get files off the 360 hdd to a PC.

Nothing of real use so far. The only thing they can do is play burned copies of games. That is with a firmware mod to the DVD drive that ric1287 spoke of. Xbox 360 Linux Project: http://wiki.free60.org/
