Any NEW or good Space Flight RPG's out anymore?

I'm so bored of GAMES now!

CS is getting too overplayed
Diablo2 is the same thing over and over.
EMpire Earth, Starcraft/Civ 3... i juss suck at those games.

I have a Flight ForCe Feedback 2 pro Joystick GOING TO WASTE!!! Wing commander is the kind of game im looking for or something like Privateer online. that would be cool. Does anybody know any games like this? or if there are any games that will come out that fit this genre?

please please please.... for a fellow gamer in need of more games!

Not new, but if you haven't played them there is Freespace and Freespace 2.

Um, Kazaa? You have to hunt around if you want to find it locally, some bargain bin places have it for $10 but there's a "gold" boxed version that goes for $15. Try ebworld.com or compuexpert.com or even Amazon if you're really pressed to get it. Tachyon: The Fringe is good too and pretty cheap.


Oh yeah, I can't get my %@%@^%! Force Feedback 2 stick to work. The via-patch from MS doesn't seem to work for me. :|

MSFT's Allegiance is a great MMORPG SPace flight RPG

Independance War 2: Edge of Chaos is a good space flight RPG. Similar to Freespace 2 except the missions are a lot less linear. You're free to do almost anything you want, whenever you want(except for the first few missions but they're more like the missions)

Not sure how back you want to go..but I'm a flight sim fan myself..so check out:

2. Tachyon
3. Freespace 2
4. Aquanox - Yeah underwater..but basically the same..
5. StarLancer
6. Tie Fighter/X-wing updated editions

I'll second the Independence War 2 - Edge of Chaos. Excellent graphics and detail but if you loved Privater, you'll be a bit disappointed in that there are few space stations where you can land and pick up new missions. Hopefully IW3 will fix this consideration

I really liked Echelon. It was really hard but not as frustrating as Starlancer. Echelon has no story but the missions are fun and it has a cool flight model. If you can find it for $20 pick it up.

How about the well-reviewed IL-Stormovik Russian Combat Flight Sim. One of the newest out there and people say gameplay and graphics is awesome.

Starlancer. I've beat it about 10 times and I still can't get enough. It has such a great story line.
