EDIT: QUESTION: How do I setup voice tags on my phone, to where I can just open it up, say the name, and it will dial the number for me?

I can't figure this out. I've read the instructions, and my phone just won't let me set up voice tags.

I go to the phone book entry I want to add a tag for, hit VIEW, then EDIT, and there is just lists:
Name
No(Number)
Store To
Speed No
.....MORE....

When I hit MORE, it just gives me:
Phone Number
Email Address

I know it's supposed to be under the first menu, but it's not there. I've read the instructions a few times, I swear I'm not retarded :D

I checked all the other settings to see if there's something I need to change, but I can't find it.

Anyone have any clues?

Thanx in Advance.

On my v60i (verizon) there is a VoiceName field between the Type and Speed No. fields. If you hit edit on that, you can record the name.

Yeah, that's what the instructions said, but I dont' have it. It's a brand new v60i from Cingular, and I can't figure it out.
I thought it was some setting I had to change, like maybe "enabling" voice tags or something. I dunno, I suck.

Anyone else?

Mine has the option to record a voice tag when you set up the contact. It asks whether or not you want to set one up. You press yes, it asks you to press the "voice" button or some garbage. Anyway, push that button, speak the name. Then it asks you to do it again. Repeat the process.

If you're looking at the phone folded together and the LCD is on the top, the voice activation button is on the right side of the phone. It's a little grey button and the only one on the right side.

Yeah, I got that button, and whenever I press it, it says "No Voice Names are stored in the Phonebook."
Let me reeiterate: I suck.

One Last **BUMP** for the Evening Crowd, in hopes that someone can help me.

If not....well....then, this thread will die a slow, painful death. We DON'T want that to happen, do we? :(
