Hi,

We've got some sticks of old PC1066 Rambus memory and were wondering if there were any motherboards out there that can support it (and can still be bought)? I've tried searching, but failed.

I am currently using a GIGABYTE GA-8IHXP. I've had it for about 2 or 3 years now. I am very happy with it. It has been rock solid. You will have to look on Ebay for one as they are no longer making them. Asus has a pc 1066 board as does Awill and Intel. Good luck.
 
Sorry that's Iwill not Awill. These are based on the 850e chipset and support socket 478 intel processor running at 533 fsb. I believe 3.06 is the highest processor, and they all are 4x agp. I have an x800xt pe and have no problems gaming with a resolution of 1680x1050.

Given how expensive PC1066 RDRAM seems to be, why not sell the memory to someone desperate to upgrade an RDRAM system and buy some DDR?
 
I'll soon be building some new (AMD/nVidia chipset) systems but the box I use now has PC1066 RIMMs.
