My friend want me to build him a new system.
He's want cheap/low budget system.
Maybe later he will upgrade the system.

That's why I need to know what Mobo has 2 choice of RAM.
I know ECS K7S5A is the one of them.
Any other mobo?

EDIT: He want the system with AMD AthlonXP.

The Asus A7A266/A7A266-E is a nice board if you need something with DDR and SDRAM.
The Chaintech 7VJD2 alaso supports DDR and SDRAM.

There are a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head...

Depends which platform you are builing on. For athlon the A7A266-E is a good board. The A7A266 is the older version. The 266-E is the2 one to get. For socket 370, get one of the ASUS tualation compatible board that have support for both. BTW< TCCOMputers.com has boards, and I look there to see what boards there are overall and their general features.

Well, he must want Socket A since he already mentioned the ECS board. Anyway, DDR is pointless in a P3 system. The only two I can think of is the ECS and A7A266-E that has already been mentioned. I know that I'm missing one though. Maybe the Leadtek that is based off the 735 chip?

As I recall, the Leadtech is an exact clone of the K7S5A, though I don't know if the bios updates are interchangable. I bought one of those ECS boards, no problems, slick piece.
