Any Microsoft RMA experiences?

I have an Intellimouse Optical that I would like to see if I can RMA... it's more than a year old and I don't have the box or reciept but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try and call them to see if they would replace it. The thing is, I can't find a suitable phone number on their support pages to call for an RMA. I would be really surprised if a company like Microsoft doesn't have a North American toll free 1-800 number for these sort of things. All I could find was a $35 USD pay per incidence number for support. I live in Canada so it could be more difficult. Besides.. I don't think I would bother paying about $58 Canadian for a service call.

Does anyone have a more suitable number to call for this sort of thing?? This mouse has been acting up for months. The optical light would shut off and then come back on a few seconds later. I'm using WinXP and whenever that happens, I get that sound that WinXP gives where you plug a USB device in and take it out.

Any help is appreciated thanks

Call 1-800-360-7561.. They replace products if you've had them less than 2 years. You shouldn't have to send it in.

Wow sounds great... I wonder if it'll be any different for me though since I live in Canada. I live in Toronto so it shouldn't be that difficult.
