Im a long time mets fan, but i have to say a little after the allstar break this year i stopped paying much attention for around a month. Just wondering what happened to The Hawaiian Hammer, Benny Agbayani. I heard they put him on waivers, never heard anyone picked him up, noticed he isnt on the roster of the Mets or their Triple-A team...anyone know?

The Hawaiian Hammer? HAHAHAHAHAHA!! How about The Hawaiian Hacker?? What a stiff! In fact, the Mets flat out suck, don't they? Yeah, great run Bobby V. What a manager! What a team! What fans!
Enjoy the World Series again, boys, from the comfort of your living rooms.

Aw, that's so bad dissing the Mets like that. Come on, they are the underdogs. The Yanks can go to the World Series every year because they have the cash to hire the best players.

Benny is the man!

Well, the funny thing is, Mets payroll isn't far behind the yankees. I just find it amazing, on how a team can come back from such a big deffecit, and then lose 2 key games along with any chances of making playoffs.

funny thing after getting rid of reed, wendell and cook, the mets payroll is over 20 million less than the yanks, but that isn't too far behind, i mean you could get giambi, sheffield, and vlad for that (just examples) so that doesn't make too much of a difference right,

After getting rid of all those guys ;)

Also, people forget that Yankees are world champions, and therefore their players get paid more than comparable players on a different team.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRYYYLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRYYYLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRYYYLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I actually have his autograph from way back in the day, thought it would be worth something one day. Now it's in the same box with my Brien Taylor autograph, you yankee fans should remember him, the can't miss pitcher who never made it out of AA.

WOW, let's once again blame the Yankees and their fans. Well I guess we're not all lucky enough to be a fan of "America's Team," the Mets. Yup America's Team, thats why Piazza's homerun a few weeks back was "THE BIGGEST HOME RUN IN THE HISTORY OF NEW YORK," much bigger than a certain Bucky Dent homerun 23 years ago, almost to the day.

Evil, evil Yankees.

I don't hate anybody. As a matter of fact, I respect other teams as well as their players and fans. It's certain arrogant individuals, that I don't like.

The Mets are a good team. well, maybe not as good as last year. I was the Pirates game yesterday at Shea and it's so dissapointing to see them loose this season after all the success they had last year. People can talk all they want, but you can't take away the fact that the Mets made it to the world series last. You have to give them at least that, because only the 2 best teams make it that far.
