been doing a lot of adobe premiere work, totally awesome stuff. wish there were more bonuses or extras though, anyone know where you can get such stuff? more transition filters, plugins, stuff like that. what i really need are more short .avi clips that can be used as intros.

my friend uses final cut pro for the mac and on his cd has a bunch of good ones, like one of the city streets fast-forwarded so all the lights + cars look like lasers, there's no audio so you throw your own track over it and it looks awesome.

I like animating in Macromedia Director and exporting as an AVI for intros and end credits and the like. But I'm no pro, I only use it for like making funny tapes [think jackass but with cool people].

Hey I'm cool people ;)
I use Final Cut Pro myself so I'm not to familiar with Premiere but you might want to look at Adobes media suite. One program is called After-affects it may be what you are looking for.
Check out Adobe.comWhat your friend does with Final Cut is
modify the speed of the clip ,real easy to do and real cool effect especially when you do
slow mo.

Premiere is like Final Cut Pro, but does not have near the ease of use or sophistication in my opinion. After Effects is a 2D compositing and animation program.
