here is the deal im trying to get power dvd to work with this matrox card, it works although very choppy playback ! Now matrox DVD player works great using about 80 % cpu which is fine because im not multitasking, now the problem is can not get matrox DVD player working in Xp but can get powerdvd working ,now I know that its not the os because I've tried it on win 98 and powerdvd does the samething ,so im looking for some bios tweak or something that possible can take some load of the cpu !
my specs are in my rig just go to the dvd one. thanks in advance.
 
no its on different IRQ 9 sound 11 video although it is recognizing it as PCI is that normal ? IM using XP I'd have to switch and see if 98 is doing the same !
 
possibly via AGP driver not installing ? I am using VIA but I thought 4 and 1's were already instaled with XP !
