any links to how to build your own case?

well i think i am going to build my own case for my car computer so i was wondering if anyone has any links to this sort of thing just so i can get a jist of what i might use for materials and the like. i am thinking perhaps using plexiglass. i assume i need to use some sort of standoff to attach the motherboard as well. thanks for any help
