any left-handed guitar heros here?

i'm thinking of picking up one of the guitar hero games and i was wondering if being left-handed complicates things.

i'm sure that there's a game setting that lets you flip the guitar the other way but then it's upside down. does that make it more difficult or do you just learn to play right-handed?

You do most of the word with your left hand in Guitar Hero. If you're capable of flicking your right thumb, I think you'll be alright. 😉 My wife is left-handed, and she has never had a problem playing it.

lefty swtich man 🙂 i cant move my right hand fast enough to play righty, so try lefty switch

You get a lot of exercise with that left hand, eh?

I'm left handed but I play Guitar Hero with a right-handed hold (right hand strumming). The left hand has far more work to do since you are rapidly pressing and releasing the fret buttons with it. But it does have a lefty flip option, so if you prefer to strum with the left hand, there's no problem there either.

Wife is left handed , but she plays like a righty.

And flipping the controls for left handers doesnt mess up anything, it just makes the wammy bar in a slightly higher spot, which is no big deal.
(she can play either way, but plays right handed for me, so we can pass the guitar back and forth)

I'm totally left handed except I play both real guitar and GH right handed. Since you have to use both hands anyway,. it doesn't really matter until you get used to one way or the other.

I'm mostly lefty but I play real guitar and learned to play it right handed (lefty guitars are hard to find and cost more, plus when playing gigs you tend to smash into the righthanded guitarist) so playing righty feels just fine in GH RB games. 🙂

okay, the way i was planning on playing is considered right-handed, so i'm officially dumb. 🙁
i was thinking about how if i were to learn real guitar, i would probably pick better with my left hand. but this isn't real guitar... 😉
