Any Keane fans out there [musical group]

NFS4

No Lifer
Just picked up their latest album -- goodness, WTF is this crap? I got their last two albums, "Hopes and Fears" and "Under the Iron Sea", but this latest album sounds like some techno/popish bullshit.

Everything so loud and fast-paced -- it's like it's a totally different group playing. I just don't understand why they changed the mood so much.

I go back and listen to "Untitled 1", "Fly to Me" and "Walnut Tree" from Hopes and Fears Deluxe and I can't help but wonder what the hell happened.

I thought Under the Iron Sea was pretty terrible, aside from Atlantic which was good. I got this album on Amazon for $3 but haven't listened to it much yet, but it can't be worse than Under The Iron Sea. Or can it??

No see, I actually liked "Under the Iron Sea"

Atlantic
Leaving So Soon
Hamburg Song
Try Again
Frog Prince

Loved them all

Is it any wonder was pretty good. Not surprised at the techno crapola. A lot of these types of bands (killers, franz ferdinand, keane, etc.) seem about one step away from it. As long as they stay that one step away I dig them. They don't and they end up $3 on Amazon I guess.

Is It Any Wonder is a nifty song... it's actually on Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 (Taul Paul's Club Mix though, not the normal version).

Its only $2.99 at Amazon for the whole mp3 cd, thinking of picking it up.

Anytime groups I have even a moderate interest in sell their cds digitally for a few bucks I usually buy it just to show support. It's the price of a gatorade and lasts a lot longer. Screw the RIAA (though maybe they get some of that $3)

It's still $3 on amazon? Wow, I thought it was only that one day.

I listened to two songs. One was mediocre, but one was good. So far it has as many good tracks as their prior album (IMO).
