Just wondering how many of you like the Jigga man...I feel like he's the best rapper ever maybe next to Pac...what's your opinion??

Like him or not you got to say that flow is sick....

*If you don't like rap/hiphop dont thread crap just dont say anythin...*

BTW: If anyone has ANY Jay-Z albums to sell (with inserts, working condition) please PM me with an offer...

Sorry, not a big fan of any music that sets lyrics about how rich a person is or how much sex he has had to a tinker bell beat a third grader could write.

Well, go listen to songs like "Meet the parents" and "Things that you do" and tell me that they're not indepth and heartfelt. Man, ppl gotta remember these ppl grew up with nothing and they talk about their hardships and lifestyles. You have to admire Jay-Z's way with words...how he can get everything to flow perfect.

comes out with a decent song every once in awhile, i think he had talent but it went to waste. He fell into the mainstream like all the other MTV idiots out there today.

edit: Sorry I forgot to comment on your "best rapper next to Pac" comment. I was too busy laughing. Nas, Eminem, Twista, Cannibus, I mean as long as your comparing live rappers to dead ones, where the hell does Biggie rank on your list? The general argument is between Biggie and 2pac for #1, how the hell did Biggie get pushed off by Jay-Z? What to you is a sick flow?

Yeah, I like his flow actually, he walks thru his lyrics, he has some stupid lyrics, but there are guys who are 1000x worse, Ja Rule or 50 Cent. The Blueprint album rocks.

Lyrically, he is better than Pac. There's just a part of Pac's songs that not many other artists can match.

Back on topic, Jay Z is ill... I can't wait for the Black Album. I'm hoping he returns to his roots (Reasonable Doubt). If he does this... it will be ill because Reasonable Doubt IS his best cd.

everyone has to see the talent this guy has...i met him once and he was making freestyle rhymes about people there and he could just come up with the craziest stuff off the top off his head (just like eminem, who i also think a damn good rapper)...

Also, he NEVER writes anything down...all his songs/lyrics/beats come from his heart...he just listens to a beat and then goes out there and flow like crazy...

I think Biggie is number #3 actually but both Biggie and Pac blew up more because they died...if they hadn't, there is only one person that has put out 10 STRAIGHT PLATINUM ALBUMS...the most consistent rapper in history...JAY-Z!
