Any Japanese readers out there? Need to order the magazine Vivi for my wife.

The amazon deal at $121 is not a great deal as you are getting issues 2 months old.

She is into fashion and works designing the floorsets and window displays for her store...2 months old is too old.

I will bite the bullet at about $200, but if someone has a stateside hookup for it I'd still like to save a few bucks.

Did you check with Kinokuniya or Asahi book stores? Where you located at?
My wife has about 10 different magazines and manga books at Kinokuniya on sub... It's pricey, but you get a 10-20% discount.

Find a Japanese store locally and see if they have any hook ups? They usually have monthly/biweekly magazine shipments, maybe they can get it.

When I was living in Boston I had a subscription from these guys link. Not the cheapest thing in the world (especially since it was for Jump) but they were timely.

I am not sure how many issues a one year sub of Vivi is, I think only 12. They don't do the discounting like our publishers often.
