I thought it would be fun to talk about politics over beers. Maybe someplace downtown? The Edison around 5 is a cool place to go

Well I live in San Diego, if anyone's around I'd be down to get a drink or two.

I live in Sherman Oaks. I have a feeling it would be most practical to meet on a weekend to avoid rush hour hassles, probably some place with easy freeway access from several directions.

Just let me know where it is so I can warn women and children in the area that a bunch of AT geeks are going to be in the neighborhood.

have it at the beach so there's other things to focus on.

i would suggest Moonlight Beach off of I-5 in North County. plenty of parking, easy to find, minimal security worries, and it's a nice beach.

It's the Encinitas Boulevard exit in Encinitas. just take the exit west and drive towards the ocean. you just need to bring some beach shoes because the pavement is baking. at high tide there's about 4 miles of beach to pick from. at low tide, even more.

and there's bathrooms !

Harvey, we would have to deal with the traffic at any time outside of 2am-6am.

I was just up in Encinitas on Saturday riding by the coast... drinks there are so expensive! I live down in OB, $5 pitchers by the beach!

I'm in Fargo, ND and when I graduate college I'll be moving somewhere warm, quickly. So lets meet up in a few years!
