Any Injuries as a Baby?

Were you ever dropped on accident by your parents?

My mom dropped me from the top of the staircase when I was about 6 months old. She had me in her arms, I squirmed out and went flying down a flight of steps into a TV/record player combo. My face smacked the right corner and almost took out my eye. I have a scar under my left eye.

Always wondered if something like that could cause brain issues as an adult. I know that the brain is very resilient.

This explains your posts.

I think I was dropped on my head as a baby, and one time when I was very little, maybe a toddler, I was leaning out of a shopping cart and fell on my head. I think I'm pretty normal aside from a few things, but is anyone ever truly normal?

I burned a hole in my romper with my cigar once.

Not as a baby but I ran down a flight of concrete stairs when I was like 2 and tripped and fell down the stairs and smashed my head real good. It actually kinda changed me and doctor later on thought it caused me to have autism but I was later re-diagnosed by a specialist as being normal. At least that's the story I recall hearing, I don't remember most of it except for going to the specialist, and even that memory is very fuzzy. It's probably more a memory of a memory. I do remember those stairs, because I used to get babysat there a lot and play in the backyard and always run up and down them. But think those memories are after the incident, I don't actually remember the incident.

Queue the "that's what happened!" comments. 😛

I was not dropped on My head , or born with a mental defect. I've worked long and hard these past 64 years to get as screwed up as I am

As a toddler, I fell down the basement stairs more times than I can count (I used to be able to count them but something happened). My best toddler trick was eating my mom's diet pills (speed, which was legal back then). My mom said I bounced off the walls for three days straight then crashed for a few days. It was the happiest time of my life, really. 🙁

3 year old me fell down a concrete flight of stairs and landed on a bunch of coke bottles. I got stitches in my hand as a souvenir.

Yeah, good times. Especially when you can get the pharm grade stuff. Bumpity bump.

I fell out a 2 story window when I was 18 months old. Luckily, I only bent one of the bones in my forearm.

I had to get stitches in my head 4 or 5 times by the time I was 4 years old through various misadventures.

I also found out I was allergic to bee stings the hard way, when I got stung multiple times when I was 3 and ended up in urgent care.
