Any ideas on fixing scratches on monitors?

ok, so as the topic says, my monitor has quite a few scratches in it...most of them pretty thin, and one thats a decent size....

Anyone know of any way to get rid of these? most of the time i just see past them, but itd be nice to have a nice new looking monitor again. : )

yeah i figured as much, thats why i havent looked into it since it got scratched up (last january). Figured id ask around see if im forgetting something : ).

BTW that was a nice fast response, thx. 4 minutes? cant beat that.

I was given a CRT with scratches. It had an anti reflective coating that was scratched up. I took one of those yellow sponges with the green scrubbing pad on one side, and using a little comet, carefully scrubbed all the anti reflective coating off. No anti reflective coating anymore, but looks a lot better. Be very gentle!
