Any ideas on buying a car while bulding a house

Hey all,

Right now I am building a house but while building this house, my family has grown to one more person, my son Barret. He was born 2 days ago!! Woo-hoo, anyways, it's not like we didn't see him coming but recently i realized the car I have now is definetly not going to work out for very long and need to buy a bigger car. Anyone know if buying a car while building a house is actually that detrimental to your credit? Any thoughts, ideas, anything?

generally it is not advisable to make any changes to your credit situation when you are in the process of buying a house.

I know, this is why I am trying to see if anyone has had experience with this

if you buy a car that will lower your score, noone knows if that will make you not qualify for your mortgage or not.

best advice would be to try and get a car a different way or wait until you close.
