I have a 486DX 100 on an old asus board w/20mb of ram. I have a vid card and a nic that I can use in this setup. I tried lastnight to get linux to install on it but it has a hard time recognizing the cdrom. I have a 1g hd that has been LLF'd to install something on. I am looking into getting another hd, maybe 20g, and would be able to use that in there. What can I do with this system? Any ways to get linux up on there? I have redhat5.2 and mandrake7.1. I've heard of linux being run off a floppy, but where can I get it? Also, I want to be able to connect to my linksys router to connect to my dsl. All ideas welcome
