Fry's has some good deals, but I would order components separately online. Their pentium deals are for the old willamette core cpus (256k) which are a little slower and don't overclock well. I would order the msi ultra ($73 newegg) and 1.6a P4 ($133 newegg) for a few dollars more. My 1.6a posted at 133 fsb (2.13 gigs) by simply changing the cpu fsb setting in the "frequency/voltage control" section. There are no guarantees when overclocking, but with the 1.6a and sis 645 chipset, you have a much better chance of getting some free speed. If you don't care about overclocking, I would go for the athlon xp. Fry's had the 1700xp with ecs k7s5a cpu for only $149 recently. Whatever you get, get a good power supply such as enermax, sparkle, antec, etc and you'll have fewer problems.
