Any idea where to buy BMW motors from?

Have you considered calling Katech and asking them what they suggest for your preferences? They may be able to suggest something that revs like you like (their Sneak Attack LS7 revs to 8000).

Interesting, may look into that. Maybe I can destroke an LS3 with close results.
