Any idea on this error? (pic)

This happens while trying to install 3DMark2K1 SE on Windows XP Pro...The install will begin and then stop @ 2% displaying THIS error, and I have no idea what it means, but it's pissing me off cuz I can't install :|

Yup, I've tried redownloading it from several different mirrors, extracting the install files before running setup, installing to different folders on different drives, and nada...Keeps locking up @ 2% I'm going to toy around w/ the Application Compatibility Toolkit from Microsoft and see if I can get something going that way...

Blah that toolkit was worthless...I've searched around on the web with the specific error number and haven't been able to come up with much of anything. Dammit this sux 🙁

Nope.... I can't figure it for anything...I'm gonna keep downloading demos and such to see if I can replicate it elsewhere...

Find a self-extracting zip file, and see if it extracts properly. If it doesn't, you have Win32 CIH virus, which slightly corrupts every .exe on your system, sometimes it can mess up installs. If that's not it, then I haven't the slightest clue.
