Any idea how I can stop Mercedes Benz from spamming me?

Some idiot with a similar e-mail address used my e-mail address at a local MB dealer in Southern California, as a result I not only get crap email from the dealer, but I get crap email from MB corporate. I've called the dealership twice, each time they promise to remove my email, but alas, I still get crap.

The ones from MB corporate have a unsubscribe link at the bottom, but alot of good it does me as it notes 'To unsubscribe from receiving further email communications from Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, or to update your profile and manage your subscriptions, please login to your Owners Online account.' Which I would love to do, if I actually HAD an Owners Online account. Bitches. Just give me a damn UNSUBSCRIBE link.

I've tried adding all the addresses to my spam filter, but they change every so often so that hasn't worked so far.

Any ideas? Its really starting to piss me off.

Nuke from orbit.

Edit - or set up a filter on your email client. Either way.

Edit 2 - anyone who doesn't use 1-click unsubscribe can die in a fire. I sympathise.

I love the ones that say it will take weeks to process your unsub request.

#2 does not work since it usually only alerts spammers it's a active account and you get more sent your way then.

Normal spammers yes, but this is a legit company. Why should I have to go through hoops to unsubscribe for something I never subscribed to in the first place?

Write a very formal business letter to their corporate address and politely explain that there's no fucking way you'd ever buy a gawd-dammed Nazi-built car that's probably lubricated with the blood from the hundreds of thousands of Jews they helped Hitler murder.

THAT should get their attention...😀

Well by "filter" I meant just a mail rule that sends mail from the offending company straight to trash.
