I played goalie in high school, and the advice given here is spot on.
The best thing I ever did for my game was to play drop-ins/pick up games, and my rink had a weekly goalie clinic for $10-$15 a session (10 years ago now). They really analyzed my style and weaknesses and kicked the crap out of me but it made me MUCH better, so if thats offered I'd look into it.
