The only balsa wood kits I seem to find are "rubber powered"? Which seems to mean they supposedly fly? I don't want to fly the thing.

that is the best part - creating something so real that it will work.

I don't want to build one to fly. I would like to build one for display only.
You have a wide base to choose from. The P51 is one of the most popular WWII fighters there is. Overall, I think they are the most perfectly proportioned war bird ever to fly.

You do not have to fly it.

Just the fact that you built it will add pride. The fact that it has not been flown becomes your secret. That it can fly is what is impressive to others.

The first model plane I ever built never flew either. But I practiced driving it around in a pasture to get the feel of controlling it. Having one coming toward you is a different control feeling that having it going away from you.

Why is everyone encouraging this dork? You need to find unrelated vagina, and by the looks of how good you are at these models I'm guessing you need it stat.

Did you just discover that you have one testicle? STFU and GTFO.

But nice model Sabot! Can such models have miniature engines or even scaled ammunition?

The Bradley does not carry external ammunition - therefore none would be showing for that model.

Depending on the model maker, they may provide a diesel engine. Where the engine is not accessible except by removing mounting panels, that would make the overall model much more difficult to impliment.

I mean, is it possible for this (or something else) to be a working mechanical model with a tiny engine and the ability to fire rounds?

I was SO disappointed when I clicked on those model pics.

Wrong kind of models 🙁

You were expecting to see pictures of a model named "Bradley"? Not that there's anything wrong with that...

What brand model is that?
Also, that's a hell of a paint job. Did you just use brushes, or spray as well?

It's a Tamaya 1:35 scale, it's just two sprays and a number of earth coloured paints, nothing too special, the painting actually did not take that long. Thanks!

Collecting Warhammer 40k gives you a good reason to put together models and paint them, some of the WH40k models are amazingly detailed for a pretty damn decent price considering.

If you get a few friends to go along you can have some fun playing the game too.

Been so many years. Used to build WW2(mostly) Aircraft. B17 and Corsair being my favourites. I recently tried making a Yak-3 in Maya. I'm not great in Maya and never finished it, but it was coming along okish.

Yea I said earlier in the post also that I used to collect these, but as a kid it is an expensive hobby, unless you're subsidized by your parents.

Unfortunately nobody I know now plays it, too bad because it's a fantastic universe.
