Is this error message new? Did you update your drivers recently? Can you give us an exact error message?

no it not new and it is on ever driver it seems and i can't exacly remember the exact error message it is somehting like sorry the grafic card is not responding to driver commands ect

what kind of motherboard do you have? you may need to update you agp driver. . .not the video driver. . .it's a long shot though

Ok, I searched Google for "VPU Recover" and found a few hints:

1. Install the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard.
2. Try forcing your video card to run in AGP 4x mode instead of 8x mode.
3. Check your computer temps (esp. video card temps) to make sure things aren't overheating.

This seems like a useful thread

i have the latest chipset my motherboard is aopen ak79g-vn and its not over heating. but i don't know how to force it to run 4x
