It costs an arm and a leg ($400) but I'd consider it if it does what it says it does. Who has one?

They had a disccusion over it at the hot deals forum not too long ago, but it was under a thread for a much cheaper air purifier. Wow long time no see Sirdante...do u know who this is?

I have them... they do work as stated, clean the air marvelously with no filters to clean but those stainless steel plates. You can buy the smaller versions for a little less and then get another for half price if you check out hteir web site. I recommend these filters highly...

Check e*ay. Also, be aware that these produce RF interference, which can hinder AM radio listening somewhat.

I had one of the ones for the car from the Sharper Image (the one that plugs in your cigarette lighter). It worked great until it caught on fire and stopped working :Q I still have to RMA it, since it has a lifetime warranty, but I'm not sure if I want another one if the same thing will happen again. But man, when it did work, it worked great!!! :)

I remember the thread in Hot Deals. The concensus seemed to be the Ionic Breeze was a rip-off with questionable real-world results.
