Any half way decent & recent tycoon games?

OpenTTD is still going on strong and fvcking awesome.

That said, I like it is really the only "tycoon" type of game that I've truly enjoyed as of late ... I loved Railroad Tycoon, There was a game called "Airbucks" and "Detroit" that I loved in the 90s, and Of course Transport tycoon and Transport Tycoon Deluxe... but, the genre has mostly been filled with garbage....

I tried OpenTTD, but just didn't get it. It seemed way too simple, but somehow lacked the motivating power of Railroad Tycoon 2.

The best Tycoon games I regularly play are:

Patrician 3 (very deep, but requires some effort)
Port Royal (similar but easier and more lighthearted)
Capitalism 1 or 2 (the granddaddy)
Madtv! (fun for the 1 or 2 hour session)
ThemeHospital (much fun, but too short and simple due to level gameplay)
Biing 2 (difficult money management and naked pics, awesome)
Railroad Tycoon 2 (very simple, but kinda fun)

I know it's not a Tycoon game but I wish they would make a newer SimGolf.
